Path of The Elders (POTE) is an educational website discussing The James Bay Treaty also known as, “Treaty Number 9” between the Government of Canada and the Indigenous people of Canada.
Originally the website was developed on a Joomla v1 platform and used Flash for the majority of its content. POTE and Mushkegowuk Coucil needed a competent partner to convert the site to HTML5 , upgrade and manage the Joomla platform. Mediumcube with its wide expertise in web development and application design offered to convert the site, game and create additional resources to the latest web compatible level.
Over the course of a year, Mediumcube developers worked to convert 7 different level of the Treaty Game from flash to JavaScript HTML5. Each game required its own set of game logic, dialogue and play scene.
Mediumcube presented a complete product that works on Desktop and Mobile. Upgraded the website to the latest Joomla and added many enhancement to the site for better user experience.
